Dorina Timbol

Entrepreneur, Dorina Timbol is a powerhouse with a huge heart. Anything she puts her mind to, she accomplishes with great enthusiasm and generosity. Born a first generation American to old school Italian immigrant parents, Dorina and her siblings were raised in the San Fernando Valley.

Previously a seven-figure selling Realtor, she became involved in the sport of Gymnastics via an early stake in the previously named Cali Dreams Gymnastics. Eventually she partnered with Tristian Rodriguez to make up Platinum Gymnastics, which is now Platinum Sports Center.

A Rotarian & chairman of Rotary’s New Generation’s, a Simi Valley Chamber Member and Boys & Girls Club Executive Board Member, Dorina’s goal is to change lives for the better. For over ten years, Dorina has been serving the community, one child at a time. She feels that every individual deserves quality, regardless of respective economic background.

Among her humanitarian accomplishments: She created the successful YES! Program (an off-shoot of the SV Sunrise Rotary,) has chaired the Mud Run, directed and ran the Discovery Stage at the Cajun Festival, coordinated Relay for Life and is a RYLA volunteer.

Fluent in four different languages, Dorina’s philosophy is simple; “If you speak from your heart, you speak truth.” Dorina has lived in Simi Valley for over 20 years with her husband, Steve and her two grown children.

Tristian Rodriguez

Tristian Rodriguez was born and raised in the South Bronx. Growing up in a Puerto Rican family, his father was a boxer and his mother a gymnast. Training at both sports from the age of 5, Tristian excelled at Gymnastics.

In 1992 Tristian relocated to Southern California and settled in Simi Valley. Over the course of the past two decades, Tristian has coached students to championship wins at the State, Regional and National levels. His students have been members of the US Junior and Future Star National Teams. Tristian has coached students to  accomplishments of  perfect 10 scores four times over. Tristian's students have gone on to compete in the NCAA and attend prestigious colleges across the country.  Tristian is a successful coach, judge and is on the board of the Southern California Men’s Gymnastics Association (SCMGA.)

A member of the Simi Valley Rotary, Tristian’s philosophy is simple; his goal is to make sure all kids have a positive experience with sports. He has been a driving force in developing self-esteem, strong character, confidence and fitness in children of all ages.

Since 2004, Tristian has co-owned and operated Platinum Sports Center, a fitness staple in Simi Valley where he strives to work with the community in all endeavors, which help children achieve personal success.
